Motion Graphics Explainer

I produced and edited a motion graphics video for Shift4 Contributions, explaining how political organizations in the United States can receive cryptocurrency contributions. The video turns a complex financial process into a clear visual narrative, helping viewers understand the journey from a crypto contribution to funds received in US dollars.

Built around Shift4’s visual identity, the piece uses branded colors, typography, and graphic elements to create a consistent connection between the product and its story. Motion graphics bring these elements together through animation, using timing, transitions, and visual hierarchy to guide attention and make the explanation easier to follow.

My production process moved through three stages: a technical script, an animatic, and the final video. The technical script mapped the narration to visual actions and scene requirements. The animatic established the sequence, pacing, and relationship between voice and visuals before full animation began. This provided a clear foundation for refining the final piece.

I prepared graphic assets in Adobe Illustrator, animated the sequences in Adobe After Effects, and assembled and edited the final video in Adobe Premiere Pro. AI-generated voiceover supported the narration, with the animation and edit timed around its delivery.

The result is a branded explainer that combines visual communication, motion design, and video editing to make a specialized product more accessible.
