Motion Graphics Explainer

I produced and edited a motion graphics video for Shift4 Contributions, explaining how political organizations in the United States can receive cryptocurrency contributions. The video turns a complex financial process into a clear visual narrative, helping viewers understand the journey from a crypto contribution to funds received in US dollars.

Built around Shift4’s visual identity, the piece uses branded colors, typography, and graphic elements to create a consistent connection between the product and its story. Motion graphics bring these elements together through animation, using timing, transitions, and visual hierarchy to guide attention and make the explanation easier to follow.

My production process moved through three stages: a technical script, an animatic, and the final video. The technical script mapped the narration to visual actions and scene requirements. The animatic established the sequence, pacing, and relationship between voice and visuals before full animation began. This provided a clear foundation for refining the final piece.

I prepared graphic assets in Adobe Illustrator, animated the sequences in Adobe After Effects, and assembled and edited the final video in Adobe Premiere Pro. AI-generated voiceover supported the narration, with the animation and edit timed around its delivery.

The result is a branded explainer that combines visual communication, motion design, and video editing to make a specialized product more accessible.

The Giving Block | Stock Donation Explainer

I created a motion graphics video for The Giving Block to explain how stock donations move from a donor’s brokerage account to a nonprofit. Designed for social media, the piece turns a multistep process into a clear visual story, combining animated illustrations, product interface visuals, and concise messaging.

The creative approach follows The Giving Block’s brand identity, using its colors, typography, and illustration style throughout. Each scene gives viewers a specific step to follow, from selecting shares and transferring them to receiving a donation receipt and delivering funds to the nonprofit.

I used Adobe Illustrator to prepare graphic assets and Adobe After Effects to animate and assemble the sequences. The motion design combines animated typography, illustrated financial elements, and transitions that connect each stage of the donation journey. AI-generated audio provides the narration, with visual timing built around its delivery.

The vertical composition was designed for mobile viewing, with prominent text, focused layouts, and captions that support understanding when watching without sound. The result is a branded social video that makes a specialized fundraising product easier to understand while showcasing its donor experience.

Brave Browser Tab Takeover

Brave Browser Tab Takeover

The campaign concepts were developed collaboratively by The Giving Block’s marketing team, connecting cryptocurrency giving with the people and causes it supports. This entry includes designs created for The Giving Block in 2025, 2024, and 2023, and reflects work beyond the “Crypto for Impact” campaign. I was responsible for translating these shared concepts into final visual designs, including artwork for Brave’s New Tab Takeover format.

A smartphone displaying The Giving Block’s donation platform anchors the design. Around it, overlapping photo cards highlight education, access to water, and community support. Hearts, cryptocurrency symbols, and yellow accents connect these human stories to the broader impact of cryptocurrency giving.

Created in Adobe Photoshop, the artwork combines photographic compositing, device mockup integration, and graphic elements. My work focused on balancing scale, perspective, shadows, and color to bring the different assets together. The layered arrangement creates depth, while the soft gradient background gives the central composition room to stand out.

The design follows The Giving Block’s visual identity through its purple palette, branded interface, and campaign graphics. Its wide layout uses a concentrated focal point and generous surrounding space to suit the browser placement.

Client: FORTA
Role: Editorial design and page layout
Tools: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

I designed educational publications for FORTA, including a guide to gender inclusion in the classroom and a cover for environmental practices in Honduran schools. These materials were developed collaboratively with specialist and institutional teams. My contribution was the editorial design and page layout.

The gender inclusion guide pairs a clear typographic hierarchy with colored section markers and supplied classroom illustrations. Two-column layouts organize longer explanations, while larger illustrated areas provide visual pauses within the reading sequence. The environmental publication cover uses a photographic composition and geometric shapes to connect school activities with its subject.

I used Adobe InDesign to develop the layouts and maintain consistency across headings, body text, margins, and page elements. Illustrator and Photoshop supported the preparation and integration of graphic and photographic assets. The design process centered on making the supplied educational material readable, organized, and visually coherent.

The content and technical review were led by the collaborating teams. Illustrations in the gender inclusion guide are credited to Allan Paz; my role was to integrate them into the publication through layout and visual design.

Crypto for Good | Brand Identity & Campaign Design

Client: The Giving Block
Role: Creative concept, visual identity, typography, and campaign design
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects

I developed the creative concept, visual style, design, and typography for Crypto for Good, a fundraising campaign for The Giving Block. The team provided the campaign name; I proposed its visual direction, which was reviewed and approved by the stakeholders.

The identity deliberately moved beyond the traditional visual language of donation campaigns. A vivid purple palette, expressive white typography, yellow accents, photography, and illustrative graphics made the campaign feel energetic and approachable. I used these elements to connect crypto culture with human stories and charitable impact.

I built a visual system that could support branding, social media, video, and website design. The social pieces shown here cover the campaign’s mission and goal, donation updates, nonprofit categories, impact stories, and supporter recognition. Square and landscape formats demonstrate how the identity could adapt across channels while retaining a recognizable voice.

My workflow brought together Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects. The design work focused on the relationship between typography and imagery, a consistent hierarchy for campaign messages, and flexible compositions that could carry both emotional stories and fundraising information.

This was a turning point in my development as a designer. It expanded my work from individual promotional pieces into a connected campaign experience across brand, social, motion, and web—and strengthened my ability to present a creative direction and carry it through stakeholder approval.

The campaign was later discontinued due to legal concerns related to the use of its name. The name had been defined by The Giving Block team. This portfolio entry documents my approved visual proposal and design work, rather than an active campaign.
